Hey! I'm Karen.

I've spent more than 15 years in entrepreneurship and innovation — most of them learning by doing.

In April 2014 I co-founded Go—PopUp, a digital platform for temporary commercial spaces. Over the next five and a half years we took it from an idea on paper to an international business: more than 3,000 spaces onboarded, a team of over 30 people, more than €2 million raised — and, in the end, an international merger and exit in December 2019.

That journey taught me digital product strategy, business development, fundraising, strategic partnerships and what it really takes to scale an organisation. Some of the collaborations I'm proudest of were creative ones: designing a new insurance product with Catalana Occident, a media-for-equity deal with Grup Godó, and an equity crowdfunding round with The Crowd Angel.

It also taught me something no pitch deck mentions: the person building the company is often its biggest invisible risk. I learnt that the hard way — and it changed how I think about building ventures.

What I do today

Today I combine that entrepreneurial experience with innovation advisory, executive sparring and leadership coaching, founder development, workshop facilitation and ecosystem building.

Through Consciously, I conceived the Founder Wellbeing Track for Campus Founders in Heilbronn. I run Founder Wellbeing OS, a live platform for founder development — workshops, personalised coaching and evidence-informed support inside accelerator programmes. And I initiated and coordinate the IDG Heilbronn Flourishing Hub, a volunteer-led community for connection, inner development and flourishing.

I'm a business and innovation leader who enjoys working alongside technology teams — not an engineer. My role is to connect strategy, people and partnerships so good ideas become meaningful ventures.
